Venturers
Subiaco Venturers are aged between 14 and 18 years and is a fun and relaxed way to end a busy school week.
In keeping with the Youth-led, Adult supported ethos, our weekly activity program is devised and run by the Venturers with input and encouragement, where necessary, from the Venturer Leader.
We do loads of cool activities and learn lots of new things. It’s up to the individual Venturer as to what they want to achieve. Some just like to catch up with friends while others may aspire to achieve the Peak Award – the Queens Scout Award. At Subiaco, everyone is supported in their efforts.
Meeting Time
Venturers meet in the Den at the Scout Hall in Rokeby Road on Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm during the school term.
Venturer Scouts
Whatever your challenge, there will be trained and highly experienced adults to guide you through the experience, to teach you the necessary skills and safety techniques. Venturer Scouts get the opportunity to travel overseas and to organised activities, to live with a different community and to provide service to others.
You don’t need to have any previous Scouting experience. We’ll help you catch up.
