Subiaco Cubs is for boys and girls aged 8-10½ who are looking for fun and adventure. We do a wide range of activities at our Scout Hall and at Kings Park including hikes, crafts, construction and more!
Our activities span across all Challenge areas of the Scouts Australia programme and there’s always something new to try. Cubs learn new skills through fun activities and games carefully devised to encourage teamwork, sharing, and encouraging all “to do their best”.
Traditionally, the jungle theme has captured the imagination of Cub Scouts everywhere and today many of Subiaco’s trained Cub Leaders are still known by names taken from Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”.
Badges and awards are presented in recognition of the effort made by each Cub at their own level of ability. Badges are available for a wide range of activities ranging from artistic, athletic, outdoor, environmental or science / engineering. The Grey Wolf award can be earned by Cub Scouts who demonstrate a long-term commitment and attain the highest levels in badge work.
Meeting Time
Cubs meet at the Scout Hall in Rokeby Road on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 7pm during the school term.
